Miss Vargas Class, Rivera Elementary School - Thank You Letters
Just went on the website and saw the priceless photos from your recent visit to Rivera Elementary School. When there are so many negative things being said about celebrities, it is nice to know some, like Tyler, are doing positive things and making this world a better place.
Analily is still on cloud nine as I'm sure her students are also. They will never forget October 30, 2009 and their visit with Tyler Hilton.
Again on behalf of all the students at Rivera Elementary, thank you for helping Miss Vargas make her classroom come alive with literature.

Thank you so much Tyler, to you and your contributors, for your generosity in giving. The students in Miss Vargas's class were so happy to see you and the hundreds of books your followers sent for their classroom. The majority of those little children will want to read a book like Twilight, because they have seen their teacher reading it. But some of them are still unable to read at that level. But because of you, and the books you left behind, they will one day be able to read anything they desire. Almost anything you want to know in life can be found in a book, and you have opened up a world of learning to these young readers.
Please extend our thanks to your supporters, and to all who helped make this a meaningful lesson in the power of giving, to the students in Miss Vargas's class. This week the books will be on display in our library for all the staff and students to see. But then they will be in the backpacks, in the desks, and in the hands of the little children eager to see where the story will take them.
On a personal note, I think its awesome to ponder the fact that years from now, when you are playing a gig, or relaxing at home with friends, some child somewhere will be in bed, nightlight on, falling asleep as they read one of those books. You will not know the child, and he won't know you, but the two of you will be linked somewhere in the pages of the story he reads. And now I am off to the bookstore, to buy a couple of copies of Maniac Magee, the book you reccomended that they read. They will all want to be the first to read that one!
